Computational biologist, received PhD from Linköping University, Sweden, and Postdoctoral training from Karolinska Institutet, Sweden, focusing on improving sequencing-based methodologies and understanding genome dynamics using single-cell sequencing approaches. Outside the lab, Antonio enjoys board games, video games, cooking and spending time with family.

BSc in Molecular Biology from Gothenburg University, Sweden & MSc in Complex Adaptive Systems (Theoretical Physics) from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. Interests include Mathematics (geometry/stochastics/chaos), bottom-up models of genetics (through the lens of disease states/pathology trajectories). Outside the lab, Julius enjoys grappling, chess, fantasy/scifi and philosophy (Mostly Kierkegaard at the moment).
